Ā·Ā MONSTAĀ 2020, THE ULTIMATE ALL-ROUNDERĀ Ā·

20 years of JS Industries and the original Monsta was first built 10 years ago. The new Monsta design has been riding next to home and even in Dream Tour events and the Olympic Games. This latest version is the ultimate all-rounder,Ā improved and fine-tuned by elite athletes, global ambassadors & local legends, together withĀ JS'sĀ recently retired World Champ and JS.
The ultimate Monsta 2020 has been added forgiveness and fine tuning so the maximum performance to which has been revolved around, can meet the board's desired conditions. Looking for explosive manoeuvres on daily waves without renouncing to predictability an reliability? Monsta won't dissapoint.

Ā·Ā RockerĀ |Ā "An overall flat rocker is the perfect all-round rocker creating speed and glide in small to average conditions."
Ā·Ā Glassing |Ā "Monsta 2020 is glassed standard with 4 x 3 oz. deck x 4 oz. bottom from 5'6 to 6'4 and with 4 x 4 oz. deck x 4 oz. bottom for 6'5+ (All sizes come standard with Hybrid Fibre tail strips)."
Ā· Rail Type | "Monsta 2020 has medium rails, providing a forgiving ride if conditions are less than ideal, but still allowing unlimited performance."
Ā· Waves |Ā Monsta 20/20 is very versatile.Ā 3-8ft, or head high to double overhead plus. Waves with decent shape up to a lot of curve and power.
| Ā Ā Ā· Concave | Very similar to Monsta 8. Single under front foot, double concave between fins. Based on team favourites, JS chose to go back to his āreverse concaveā which is deeper under front foot and shallower at each end. We found this to be the fastest of them all as it creates maximum water flow. | ![]() |

Ā· A BIT ABOUT JS INSDUSTRIES SURFBOARDS Ā·

JS industries is now one of the most known and respected names in the world of performance surfboards and we are stokedĀ having them at Pukas Surf Shop.
What does JS industries and the tractor of the logo stand for? Have you ever think of that besides thinking, āyep, thatās coolā? Well keep readingā¦
JS stands for Jason Stevenson. As Stevenson says, back when he started shaping, everybody in the industry was calling surfboard companies by their name and thatās not like him. He chose JS because of it and a lot of people donāt even know still who that is or whatās the real name behind it. Even though he knew it would get out there eventually.
So, JS is Jason Stevenson. Heās the founder, owner and shaper that built JS industries from the ground up. He has build strong relationships with world class team of loyal surfers throughout the years thanks to not only his shining talents but also his passion and love for surfing.
Not in vain the iconic Traktor logo has been found under quite some elite surfersā feet over the years such as four world Champion and more 32 contenders. The valuable feedback of these top surfers are part of the innovations and improved designs over the past two decades.

Now, why a Tractor? Letās Jason Stevenson himself explain that one:
āThe tractor⦠Well, Maurice Cole had the teddy bear at the time and, even though it was a teddy bear, it still looks really cool. I wanted it not so much to be about me. I wanted to build a brand but I also had connections to machinery. Thereās a childhood photo of me standing next to a huge machinery that my old man used to drive when working as a machine operator in the mines in Straddie. Both my mom and dad surfed so, that is how it all began.
āI went to Toys āRā Us and bought different machinery toys thinking that I would get a logo out of one of them. I got all these different sort of things and trucks and there was this one tractor that I went up and took photos of it. It was a yellow tractor at the time and I was like, āYep, thatās itā. Then it just evolved and that is how JS Industries had its logo.āĀ āJason Stevenson.
